Safety belt (type 2PL-K) is a personal protective equipment, which, together with other safety equipment, is used to ensure safety during construction, installation, repair, rescue and rescue work at height or in wells, underground and above-ground tanks and communications (high-altitude climbing work - HAR), where there is a risk of falling and injury to workers performing these works.Thebelt isdesigned as a combination of two types of belts: safety belt with straps of PL type and safety belt of PB type.The belt ismanufactured in climatic version U, category 1 according to GOST 15150 with limitation of the lower temperature limit to -40 ° C.Thebelt isused to prevent the fall of a worker staying at height when performing WAR, to ensure its retention in case of a breakdown; to prevent a fall from height in the process of descent (ascent) of a worker; when performing works where there may be a need for urgent evacuation of a worker (possibly unconscious).Theuse of thebelt as an integral element of safety and rescue equipment in case of a worker's falling off provides stopping his fall with the level of load safe for a person. In case of holding a person who is waiting for help or is unconscious, the strap belt ensures that the person remains in a near vertical position.Thebelt complies with the requirements of DSTU EN 358:2017, DSTU EN 361:2017, TU U 17.4-21582561-002-2004 , "Instructions on labor protection when performing work at height using special safety equipment".Design.General view of the belt (type 2PL-K) is shown in the figure.

The belt has a tag with the date of manufacture of the belt (month, year), as well as its individual number.The belt can be equipped with a shock absorber, which is connected to the back fastening element (1).The weight of the belt without the shock absorber is 1.5-1.8 kg. Each belt is completed with a "Registration form".ATTENTION! Itis forbidden to make changes or amendments to the belt design or to perform its repair.
